About the job
I need senior care provider with experience caring for someone with COPD, anxiety, tracheostomy tube (suctioning and oxygen use) and gastrostomy tube (tube feeding and medication with water flushes). Our care concerns are: may need help with disconnecting humidity/oxygen to trach and/or tube feeding to allow him to ambulate to bathroom. Able to tracheal suction self but someone who knows how would be a plus. Continent, cognitively intact, recovering from cancer treatments. Likes to watch sci-fi movies. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion.
