About who needs care: Begin the day with helping him get cleaned and ready for his day. Make breakfast. Make bed. Vacuum/dust/do laundry/clean bathroom and kitchen as needed. Plan lunch and dinner meals. Get items out of freezer or go shopping for groceries. Ensure meds are taken. Go out around town with him if he feels like it. Plus anything else he needs assistance with. About the care needs: My husband has stage 4 heart failure and due to an MVA and fall he uses a walker in the apartment and an electric wheelchair to go out. He loves music and was a band director. A caregiver who is a self-starter, can attend to his needs, likes word searches (we have competitions with each other), can care for his CPAP and oxygen machines, good listener. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
