About who needs care: Alzheimer's. We currently have someone 4 hrs/day 2 days/week but my wife isn't connecting. Likely a cultural thing. Wife is a retired 2nd grade teacher. Maybe someone who also taught school to have something in common to talk about. She has no real hobbies so the person needs to take the initiative and suggest. I'll buy anything needed. About the care needs: Upbeat personality willing to suggest activities, just watch TV (not too much), make her lunch, get her out for a walk on nice days (she won't go any more than a block or two). Again, someone who has been in public or private education I think would be an ideal fit to at least have a link. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
