About the job
We need a caretaker for our elderly, handicap father in Westport. Important - experience with managing and administering medication and English language is required. Some light tidying up and meal prep is involved. One of your responsibilities will be helping with transfers, bathing and dressing. Personal care required. We might ask you to run errands now and then. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.) in my father's vehicle, wheelchair van. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained or home health aid or nursing experience. Looking for assistance for up to 40 hours per week, with availability on weekends. Currently looking for help Wed 3- 8pm, Tues, Thurs, Sat 8 a.m. -1 p.m. & 3-8 pm, Sunday 8 a.m. -1 p.m.
