About who needs care: mother is 80's with recent hosptiization for pneumonia and needs oxygen now. HAs had 3 hospital stay in past year. Father is 90's with parkinson's wheelchair level and able to transfer with little to no assistance. Has medications at different times during the day They need help getting dresses, going to the restroom, someone to prep a snack and meals. Like the newspaper read to them. In good weather like to go outside. Listen to books on tape, chat, they have exercise routines that are done daily. About the care needs: We are looking caregivers who are caring, professional, willing to do light chores such as dishes, laundry, sweeping the kitchen floor. Both of my parent are in wheelchairs. My father is able to self propel his wheelchair. A caregiver will need to be able to assist with using a regular commode and a drop arm commode. My mother currently uses a plus ox to monitor her oxygen saturation levels and the caregiver would have to adjust her oxygen as indicated. My parents enjoy watching sports, birds, knowing what is happening in the community. My mother was an avid baker Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
