About the job
I will be having rotator cuff surgery on Nov 7. This is a short term posting, probably 4-6 weeks. As I regain my ability to do ADL, hours will be reduced. Hours are flexible 3 to 4 hrs a day Food prep, tidying house, light housekeeping (cleaners come every 2 weeks), laundry, watering the plants, and fetching things for me. I live with my 76 yr old husband, who is very supportive, but I want to be able to give him a break! About the care needs: I am deaf in one ear, so I have difficulty understanding people with very heavy accents. You have to be in the same room as I am when speaking, and bonus points if you are looking at me when you speak. My right arm will be in a sling for 4-6 weeks and I wont be able to move my shoulder at all.
