About the job
We need live-in home care to take care of my father in Wayland. Medication management is required. Some help needed with bathing. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. We'll need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.). Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Covid, Flu and RSV vaccination required. My father has CHF, and the diuretics cause frequent kidney output (around hourly.) Muscle atrophy has limited mobility, efforts to strengthen muscles desired. (My mother has short-term memory loss, so patience with mild dementia is also a plus. However, she does not desire any assistance and is independent within the house.) Start date very flexible (now in rehab for PT).
