About who needs care: My grandfather has Parkinsons Disease. Needs an experienced professional to daily assistance with all activities of daily living, companionship, kind listening ear and conversation, assistance with bathing, changing briefs, voiding and bowel movements, transfers from bed to walking to wheelchair to recliner chair etc. His wife, granddaughter and other aides have been assisting but lost Sunday staff. Each day is a little different but he has some mobility just requires close assistance to get from laying in bed to seated to standing. Would go over things in much more detail upon meet and greet visit to determine if a right match About the care needs: Someone with a positive attitude. Willingness to learn. Ability to do transfers utilizing gate belt or hoyer lift or walker or just physical strength to get Grandpa from laying to seated to then standing. Sponge baths. Cleaning / changing diapers and personal areas. Ensure cleanliness with dignity and compassion. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
