Seeking companion care for my mother in her 70s. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping and is helpful with major decluttering. My mother's house is not dirty, it's just very cluttered and she needs help taking back her home from all the clutter. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion, who likes to talk as mom can be chatty. Part of your responsibilities will include encouraging her to go on walks as the only movement she does is with light cleaning or walking the dog, who stops and sniffs every 10 feet. My mother can be challenging, meaning she's very stubborn. She doesn't like to move, but she needs to build strength to get her vibrancy back. She's only 76 but uses her age as an excuse when it suits her. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets.
