About the job
Looking for a personal caregiver to join the team caring for my 38-year-old brother with ALS. He is currently wheelchair dependent and requires use of a Hoyer lift He is often using a bipap machine to assist with breathing Must be experienced with a Hoyer lift, but additional training will be provided on use. On the job training will include stretching exercises, transfer techniques. Interest in sports is a plus Duties include: Helping him get out of bed and ready for the day Assisting him with stretches of upper and lower body Dressing and bathing Toileting needs Medication administration including nebulizer medications I need a care provider with experience.
