My 88-year-old father had a stroke and cannot move his left side except for some movement in his left hand and arm. His cognitive functioning and speech are good. He will require assistance with clothing and diaper changes, toileting, bathing and showering, eating and medication and transfers to and from bed and wheelchair with use of a sit to stand (Sabine) lift.
