Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Lexington

About who needs care: My dad is a 59-year-old widower living in Waltham, MA. He has Frontal Temporal Dementia, back issues and Diabetes. He is "with it" in terms of conversation and memory. We need someone to help him with executive functioning tasks such as cleaning, laundry, taking him on errands, (every other week to the bank, grocery shop, occasional doctor appointment), reminding him of showering, checking the mail, etc. He loves sports, cooking shows, and just conversation with people. Currently he needs support with the structure of his day - he needs company and someone there consistently to keep him on task. Ideally, I just want my dad to have someone there to help him have a happy, clean home, keep him company and take him out on a walk every once and a while. About the care needs: Looking for someone who can be direct, yet warm with him. Someone who can make him laugh and have him participate in the daily living tasks. Ideally, someone who can just "monitor" his meds, aka just remind him to take them. He is compliant and a nice guy, just won't do it for himself unless someone tells him to. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
