Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Lexington

About who needs care: my mother just had hand surgery(one hand, I think maybe carpal tunnel). she needs helps with regular things. Im not sure for how long. maybe two weeks on and off. she does not want to ask for help and I do not live nearby nor can I stop my job to go there. She has two cats and will need help with them, is if anyone is allergic to cats I would not work. I hope to find someone very soon. she waited until the last minute AFTER the surgery. She is 84 and not very organized. She is otherwise healthy to my knowledge, and is being very responsible with not taking too many pain killers. I dont know much more. Just trying to help because she clearly cannot use her hand to type. I wish I had known about this surgery sooner. Can you please give me an estimated price range? I dont want to subject her to a million questions or phone calls, she if feeling very alone. thank you so much About the care needs: someone patient and calm. she tends to get nervous. someone who could be like a friend. someone who loves cats would be AMAZING! Her cats are very sweet and on the older side, so not anything crazy. But she loves people who love cats (rather than "tolerate" them) She likes to talk a lot, so maybe a good listener?? someone who likes to watch TV?? I really dont know. but thats what I can come up with! Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
