About the job
I am looking for a companion to visit my mom 2-3 days per week for about 3 hours per day. My mom is 61 years old and diagnosed with posterior cortical atrophy which is a visual variant of Alzheimer's. She currents resides at a nursing home in Braintree and is craving some more social interaction! I would love to find someone who is comfortable going to visit and talk to her but also to drive and take her out to lunch or coffee, get outside for walk, stop by the water in summer months, or shop. She is a beautiful, loving, and kind woman. We have great visits and outings with her but I think she would love a new friendship. I was thinking hours could be about 11-2 but we are completely flexible on weekdays and times. If you think you may be interested please reach out.
