About who needs care: Feisty, funny lady. Loves sweet treats and her doggy. Sleeps late and likes to nap. Loves old music (Lionel Richie, Simon and Garfunkel, Supremes, Nat King Cole), TV shows with firemen, Christmas/ Hallmark movies, and Chinese food. Needs lots of reminding. Will sometimes do arts and crafts and will play cards or board games but will need reminders about how to play and to stay on track. About the care needs: An easy going/laid back caregiver who isn't easily offended would be best. Patient sometimes swears or says off-color things but caregivers tend to appreciate her as she does say some very funny feisty things. Patient, caring caregiver with experience with dementia patient preferred. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
