About who needs care: My mother has MS, multiple sclerosis, and is unable to complete her ADLs. Looking for someone who is comfortable helping with daily hygiene, light housekeeping, the occ transportation or setting up transportation, and a companion. She loves to knit and talk during the day and would appreciate a friendly face. Looking to split the day between 2-3 shifts that would ideally help with hygiene, meal prep, laundry, and sit with for an hour. Shifts can be negotiated around your schedule and work with you for any changes. An example of a shift would be:personal and hygiene care, meal, 1-3 light cleaning task such as laundry or trash removal, and then sit with client until shift ends. About the care needs: Comfortable lifting and assisting with mobility Calm and willing to listen Able to multi-task Comfortable around pets (2 cats, 1 dog Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
