About who needs care: 80 yr old male with some cognitive and mobility issues. Loves animals and the outdoors. Looking for someone with strong caregiving skills and ability to assist with transfers as needed. He's ambulatory with close supervision and assistance as needed. Looking for care some mornings and rarely help getting him into or out of bed. Doesn't have to be same person, and we are in process of acquiring a lifting aid. About the care needs: Caregiver must be male. Must love animals and the outdoors. Must be patient yet firm. Must be able to physically support or help him rise when needed. Need occasional help with care tasks like morning and bedtime, but mainly just keep him happy and safe doing outdoor activities he enjoys a few mornings a week, and encourage him to do his therapies. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
