Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In Fall River

About who needs care: My uncle has a severe handicap due to a rare degenerative nerve disease / ataxia. It presents a lot like parkinsons. He is in pain and has numbness. It has slowly gotten worse over the years and will continue to worsen. He was fully able bodied for 30 some years of his life and it came on very slowly. He struggles to walk and requires a walker for short distances independently, but has started falling more often. He requires a wheelchair for substantial movement. He cannot shower independently any longer, he struggles with incontinence (often because he cannot physically get himself to the bathroom), and cannot stand himself up from a fall. My uncle is the sweetest person, very docile and is so personable. He would do or talk about anything. He likes to spend time outside, just sitting, and Im afraid he may not be able to do that on his own anymore. My uncle lives with my father (his brother), who is a few years older but does not have any serious medical issues and is fully able bodied. We suffered a tremendous sudden loss in our family this past summer and lost my mother. Although divorced, my father looked to her primarily for help as she was an RN. My father is capable of helping my uncle, but lacks genuine patience and true understanding. Hes resistant to changing his own routine and is struggling to accept the circumstances and the condition my uncle is in. It is a complicated and difficult situation. My twin sister and I are 27 and local. We do as much as we can with our own jobs and homes and lives. My sister is an RN and is excellent at caring for him, but cannot be there every day. We are their only remaining family. About the care needs: Someone who can help him with every day tasks, like showering and getting dressed. Someone who could help him move through out the house and hopefully help him get outside. Someone who is able to help him up from falls. Services needed include: transportation, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
