We are seeking compassionate, motivated and dedicated caregivers to provide essential support to seniors in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, with the ability to assist clients with daily activities and personal care needs. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those requiring memory care.
Duties
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including helping clients move around their home safely and errands, appointments, etc.
Support clients with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, particularly for those with dementia or memory-related conditions.
Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
Previous experience in home health, assisted living, or a similar caregiving role is preferred.
Knowledge of patient care techniques and familiarity with medical records management.
Understanding of dementia care principles and best practices.
Compassionate and patient nature with excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and their families.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient information.
Certification as a Home Health Aide or equivalent training is desirable but not mandatory.
Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
