Friday Night Art Party

Looking for a humorous and able caretaker to care for Kathie on Friday and/or Saturday nights. Kathie is a retired attorney, who enjoys drawing, taking notes, and engaging in the world. She has memory issues, breathing problems, and weakness that prevent her from doing many ADLs independently. She is humorous, kind, creative, worldly, and has eclectic taste. The ideal aide will be upbeat and engaging, and be able to take many typical dementia behaviors in stride. A typical shift will include things like: bed bath, bedding change, toileting, some assistance with eating, giving snacks and OTC meds on demand, watching tv, setting up art supplies, responsibly enjoying mj, maintaining access to water and oxygen, ordering take-out or preparing a meal, and light housekeeping (such as washing dishes or feeding the cats).
