About the job
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate temporary caretaker to support a stroke survivor in their recovery at home. Responsibilities: Assisting with personal care routines; Supervising and supporting mealtimes (meals are pre-prepared; light reheating and serving required); Accompanying and assisting with physical therapy sessions; Helping with prescribed exercises between sessions Supporting media use (iPad, light tech help); Performing very light household tasks (tidying, surface cleaning); Willingness to learn proper transfer techniques and therapeutic exercises Background or interest in physical therapy, kinesiology, or exercise science is a plus Experience in caregiving, rehabilitation support, or related fields is helpful Excellent communication skills in English or German Kind, respectful, patient, and attentive to detail
