My wife and I live with Jack and supervise a current care team of 3 persons. We need a new addition for 2-3 shifts a week to start. Jack gets 24 hour care, divided up into day (8am-10pm) and night (10pm-8am) shifts. When there is down time, we expect support with moderate cleaning and errands/household chores. It is important to Jack that you can lift heavier weight, have a sense of humor and speak good English without a strong accent. My wife and I value clear communication, integrity, work ethic and emotional intelligence - i. e. knowing when to be proactive and when to give us space. We all appreciate care that is efficient but compassionate/caring. He has some mobility still but is declining physically due to age and Parkinson's. He remains very sharp for his age but frequent UTIs mean he can get confused.
