About who needs care: Looking for care for my mom, living with degenerative Multiple Sclerosis since 1989. She needs help moving from sitting to standing, getting in and out of bed, to her car, and other mobility tasks around the home. She would also benefit from mobility aid at medical appointments, physical therapy, and her occasional social outings. She lives with her partner who cannot keep up with her increasing needs, but the good news is she doesn't lack for companionship and love. Thanks so much. About the care needs: Caregivers should be fluent in English and extremely patient, as well as the physically strong. Mom is grouchy and sometimes struggles to explain logistics well, so a gentle touch is required. Light humor is always welcome. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
