About the job
Seeking compassionate & dedicated caregiver to assist our mother, an incredible woman in her late 70s, as she navigates daily life with grace. She never fully recovered from a hip replacement 2 years ago and so, although she's able to walk with a walker, she isn't very stable and needs assistance/support with basic daily tasks including toileting. Additionally due to a traumatic brain injury in 1997, she experiences dementia-like behaviors, which she manages to hide well, but she does display erratic and forgetful behavior from time to time and might require assistance and reminders. We're looking for an experienced and understanding aide (PCA, CNA, HHA, etc) who will keep her engaged, help her shower, dress and put herself together, take her shopping, watch her do her simple exercises, etc. Payroll position (no under the table)
