Are You Looking For Occasional Work??? Person Needed For Dementia Care - MUST LIVE IN AMHERST AREA Experienced person needed as an occasional relief worker to help assist with the care of my 89-year-old elderly brother with later stage Vascular Dementia. The shifts that sometimes need coverage are 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30pm, 7 days per week. We live in North Amherst in a pleasant environment. This is an on-call substitute position. Hours may vary and increase as needed. Living in Amherst or close to town is a must. Eventually steady work is an option. We currently have people who work morning and evenings two hours each and need someone to fill in when they can't work. Morning care responsibilities are shower/dressing, breakfast prep, mobility guidance, toileting, personal hygiene/grooming, and preparing bed for evening.
