My family is looking for intermittent assistance for my mother (in her 50s) with cognitive deficits. It would be a varying schedule since it is supplemental care when someone in the family isn't available to assist. We mostly just need someone in the house to ensure her overall safety, but she does require supervision with toileting, eating, microwaving food, providing medications, etc. My mother is physically independent (absolutely no lifting required) and very pleasant and cooperative. She has pretty good insight into her deficits and is always willing to accept help. The job would be perfect for either a high school/college student pursuing a healthcare career or a retired individual looking to make a little extra cash.
