About who needs care: She needs someone to make her meal, ensure she eats meals, takes correct medicine, and be around in case she needs help She moves slow, but does take care of basic personal needs. Needs help bathing. She is very hard of hearing. She is legally blind with no vision in one eye About the care needs: Someone that is firm, kind! She will like much change and takes a little time to develop trust with someone. The care giver should be an excellent communicator with family so that we are sure our grandmother's needs are met in a way that works for her Enjoy taking walks, describing things, playing games or word puzzles. This will take patience and maybe making changes to allow her to fully participate. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
