About the job
A temporary caregiver is needed for a 68 yr old paraplegic female. She is in need of a companion until her regular companion returns from being ill. This person is needed to run errands, help keep her home tidy, get her in out of her wheelchair and bed, assist with bathing and dressing, prepare some meals, and do weekly laundry. Although this client enjoys her independence, it's important to acknowledge that her safety depends on the caregiver. A ceiling lift is available to help with bed transfers, although, with assistance, she's very capable of using a transfer board getting in out of bed. She believes an ideal Caregiver will operate as a respectful and needed member of her extended family. No smoking, please.
