Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Metairie

About who needs care: My mom is 8 years into Parkinson's & having trouble caring for herself. My dad who was caring for her was diagnosed with Glioblastoma 1 1/2 years ago & is dealing with his own health challenges & is no longer able to care for her in the same way. I'd love to get a wonderful caregiver to help them. My mom is hilarious & a sweetheart however is starting to get confused mentally. My dad is very internally confident but starting to lose his capability & with the brain tumor is starting to forget some words. Would love someone to ensure their basics needs are met - meals, medications taken properly, etc. I would also love someone who is caring & nurturing to provide them both with support that they could really relax into as they deal with these challenging times. My mom is limited in mobility wise. My dad loves golf & flying but is doing less & less of that. My heart thanks you so much! Heather About the care needs: Someone who is confident in their abilities. My parents are both getting more confused so a nurturing kind personality that can help them feel comforted & cared for. Would love someone who can cook healthy meals as well as understand and manage medications & basic household needs. My mom often needs help to walk or can walk with her walker/cane. My dad is physically good but the brain tumor progression - things may change & he could require more. They were both surgeons & have brilliant minds even though now they are more confused. They are such great humans & someone they can trust & feel at home with you being there :). Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
