About who needs care: Dad is in the early to mid stage of dementia, he has been falling now & then. We have him in a wheelchair & pretty much carrying him around. Mom is unable to handle him, & he needs constant care. He has a lot of clear moments, and his security is being home. About the care needs: Dad has a sense of humor, but he's also very emotional, which is new to us. Mostly we are trying to preserve his dignity. He loves people, & since he's been handicapped, there's been a lot of neighbors stopping by. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
