They are both independent but require light assistance with daily tasks such as meal preparation, redirection and companionship. They enjoy staying going out to eat, shopping and staying active and maintaining their routines, and we're seeking someone who can support their independence while ensuring their comfort and safety. A friendly, compassionate, and reliable person who enjoys providing companionship while being sensitive to our parents needs for independence is a great fit. Someone who can create a comfortable, trusting relationship while maintaining professionalism is essential. Specialized Skills: No specialized skills are required, but a general understanding of elderly care, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and basic mobility assistance, would be beneficial. Experience with seniors, especially those in their 80s, is preferred. Hobbies/Interests: Our parents enjoy meaningful conversation and light social activities, so someone with a calm demeanor and an interest in enriching daily life would be great.
