About who needs care: Beginning stages of dementia. Dislikes taking a shower in cold weather. Once a week is what she will take! She loves shopping and good movies! She likes watching news, she does word search games, loves her sweets, but diabetic. Breakfast is usually Decaf coffee - 2 cups, small pastry with it. Watches Fox news pretty much all day long! Sews her tops by hand cause she has shrunk 2 inches!! Eats soup or noodles for lunch then continues with her sewing. Sometimes takes an afternoon nap. Hates the winter months. Never wants to go outside unless has a Dr appointment or sometimes church on Sundays. Social during the spring and summer and part of the fall until it starts getting cold! About the care needs: Someone who likes to listen to stories and interacts while my mom tell them. Social and outgoing personality, but not too over the top! She would like it if she'd like to learn how to play mahjong. It's a tile game. She likes to cook so if the care giver could helps her cook some days! Right now she can't walk without a walker nor can she bath herself. She weighs 106 lbs! She's just coming home from rehab. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
