About who needs care: My dad has recently had his leg amputated. He is healing from that. He has not been diagnosed with Alzheimer's or dementia but sometimes suffers from bouts of confusion. My sister and I are looking for someone to sit with him during the day and help with hygiene and basic care tasks in her home while she works. About the care needs: Someone who doesn't mind taking and being sociable because dad likes to talk would be good. Also someone who can help transfer him from his hospital bed to wheelchair and doesn't mind helping him with bathroom issues and accidents. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
