Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Paducah

About who needs care: For my mother, who is 77 years old. Her husband - my stepdad - also lives there. They both have chronic health conditions and can no longer manage housekeeping tasks or cooking/preparing meals, other than pre-cooked microwavable foods or a simple sandwich. They need assistance with sweeping, mopping, dishes, dusting, laundry, cleaning the shower and toilet, making sure pets are fed, and taking out trash. At least 3 days/wk. Either mornings or afternoons. About the care needs: Someone friendly and engaging. They are both pretty isolated and aren't able to get much socialization or do activities outside of the house. Someone patient, with a positive outlook and sense of humor. Both my mom and stepdad have some short them memory issues, at times. A caregiver does need to be okay with dogs - they have four, all very friendly and behaved. Three use a doggy door to let themselves out into fenced yard. But the smallest uses puppy pads that need to be changed out daily. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
