Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Independence

About who needs care: My dad cannot walk on his own, and needs help running basic errands, keeping the house clean, laundry and help getting in and out of the shower. He can bath himself once in and seated. We were thinking a visit twice a week to start to make sure he is bathing, and removing trash. We also would like someone to help take him to physical therapy eventually once we can convince him. About the care needs: We think he would be more comfortable with a male, just due to lifting him/supporting him. Also, we need someone who will not enable him, but maybe go for short walks using the walker to build the muscles. He will talk to anyone about anything. So, they have to be a good listener. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
