Seeking candidates for an in-home caregiver for 77-year-old male, who had a major right sided stroke in 2019 and is a left sided hemiplegic (paralyzed on left side of body). Home is located in Fort Thomas, KY 41075. Prefer candidates with CNA or home health experience, would welcome RN/LPN applicants. Responsibilities included but not limited to: Safely assist with transfers (requires significant upper body strength), utilizing squat-pivot transfers from bed-chair, chair-chair etc. Prefer candidates with previous experience with transferring patients with significant mobility issues. Assist with daily toileting, shower, and dressing routine. Utilizes shower chair for toileting and showering daily. Ensure client is wearing compression stocking on left leg daily and sling on left arm if requested.
