Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Elizabethtown

About who needs care: My father in law, Danny lives alone. He has been a painter his whole life, now on disability. He has been diagnosed with bipolar, and dementia. He also has COPD and diabetes. He has one cat, and one dog who he loves and who is his companion. Looking for someone to help him take his dog out on walks with him (dog is strong and pull Danny), put his medicine in order (he gets confused and mixes his medicine), and maybe make meals for him. He likes to watch TV and smoke all day. About the care needs: We would need someone who is patient, kind, understanding. Someone who does not mind smoke and loves dogs. We are looking for someone to come over other day for 1-2 hours - maybe 5-10 hours a week. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
