About who needs care: Grandma is recently diagnosed with Dementia on a rapid decline- some days are better than others. Some times she can walk with assistance but others her brain forgets. We need help in the mornings so we can continue to keep our jobs. She mainly needs help with getting up to the bathroom, making sure shes keeping cleaned and just getting things if she needs. A person to be around! She loves fantasy movies and books when she could read. She loves to talk. Her ideal day is breakfast in the morning at 7 a.m. which I take care of, then tv for a little, bathroom and clean up. Rest till lunch, lunch in kitchen, then relaxing in afternoon till I get home. About the care needs: She is very hard of hearing, and can be very impatient at times. She mainly needs help getting to the bathroom or moving around the house if she wants to sit in another room. Shes been so uncomfortable and hard to relax so we are working with doctors to help with that. Shes prone to utis so we are trying to keep her clean. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
