About who needs care: Arthritis, can't take pain pills due to stomach ulcer in the past, I get severe lower back pain, had spinal surgery about a year ago. Can't stand very long cleaning house. Liike some in-town Transportation. Can get this paid by Medicaid. I need help with bathing and cleaning house. I have the frail and elderly waiver that qualifies me for full Medicaid in the state of Kansas. It would pay the worker. It could be up to 20 hours a week. About the care needs: No special skills are needed. I just need someone that has patience enough to do some thorough cleaning of shelves and cleaning up the dirty dishes. I prefer to do my own cooking and set up my meds myself. I like to do Indian-style beading. If they have an interest in that, it would be fine. If they help me with cleaning, I will have more time to do my hobby. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
