Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In West Terre Haute

About who needs care: My father is a widower (my Mom passed away this past June 2024), and he is in need of someone to do light chores (laundry, vacuuming, dishes), possibly meal prep, and errands. He has had a couple of mild strokes, and is having a pacemaker put in today. In addition, he has hand tremors that are starting to affect his ability to feed himself. I live in Arizona, and can not be there, and my brother lives in OH, and can assist to some extent, but not on a daily basis. About the care needs: Would like the caregiver to be personable, ethical, and a genuine down to earth person. Someone with medical knowledge to recognize signs of distress, assist with medication administration (he takes Warfarin and Primidone - for his tremors). Pop is a retired art professor, so someone with an interest in art, culture, and nature. He enjoys watching Korean soap operas (with subtitles of course!).. my mother always teased him about that. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
