About who needs care: -2 small dogs -enjoys watching TV, keeping track of birds and what's going on outside -walks with difficulty -very involved in church and friends there -beginnings of dementia -wife providing care but would benefit from small breaks -would like help with housekeeping, meal prep, possibly picking up groceries About the care needs: We haven't hired anyone for this before and are figuring it out as we go. He is struggling with the dementia symptoms and having been diagnosed with it - he doesn't feel like he can think well, and it's embarrassing. He's resisting the idea of having someone come in, but it will be helpful for both of them to have someone around who is steady on their feet, reliable, and kind. They have both spent their lives in caring professions and are good at being welcoming. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
