About the job
I am looking for an experienced caregiver to accompany my 90 yr old grandmother as she returns to her independent living facility (The Forum) when leaving rehab next week. She may need help with transfers, bathing, using bathroom and dressing. We really aren't sure how much help she will need. She will continue to have rehab at her apartment for some time - that will include a PT, OT, home health aide for bathing and a clinical nurse for wound care. This person will have those supports for several weeks Ideally, we would like to see a person who can support her for extended hours this first week and then a shorter shift in following weeks. We are kind of taking things day by day but the discharge is currently set for Tuesday, January 14th at 10 a.m.
