About who needs care: Early onset of dementia About the care needs: My Dad is fairly sweet guy prone to occasional outbursts if he gets confused and feels he's being taken advantage of or doesn't have a say in matters. Best to have a female who can be friendly but assertive. He has the onset of dementia but is still living by himself successfully. Looking for home visits to check in on him and grocery shop. He drives from Lake James to Auburn to visit my Mom in an Assisted Living Facility daily. Would like to explore getting him off the road so entertaining hiring a driver also to take him, stay 1 hour and drive back. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
