Seeking a caring, loving & experienced caregiver for LIVE-IN position. Our mother, in her 90's, has some memory loss, but is conversant and coherent. She has had live-in care for five yrs., since suffering a heart attack. She needs assistance with all mobility; walking, toileting & transferring. In home OT & PT 2 x /week helps! Oxygen at night and uses a nebulizer for the day. Caregiver will perform bathing, meal prep (heart healthy) and light housework. Family is supportive and pitches in when needed and visits often. Back-up support for days off and emergencies is also sought. Seeking someone skilled in elder care, yes, but critical to be a team player, show our mother compassion and humor and hopefully memorable moments. Mom is losing her eyesight, but still enjoys movies and sports and plays euchre during the week with friends.
