About who needs care: He has severe neuropathy in his legs and feet and is unable to walk. Before he entered the hospital with a bad infection, he was able to make transfers with my help. He is currently in rehab and undergoing physical therapy, but I will need more help when we return home. He also has to in and out cath so it would be helpful to have someone who could assist with that. The physical therapist here has recommended we get a sit to stand lift for making transfers. Monday, Wednesday and Friday would be his shower days. About the care needs: He has responded well to a CNA here who treats him gently and lovingly. I will mostly need help with transfers, bathing and toiletry. Again, someone who is comfortable with in and out cathing would be helpful. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
