History of falls, recent left ankle/leg fracture, walks with walker w/supervision, minimal assist with transfers to chair/bed, continent w/occasional urgency incontinence, short term memory loss, history of a-fib (controlled w/meds) and macular degeneration. -What are their hobbies/interests? For 96yrs, her cognitive function is pretty good. She keeps herself sharp w/daily crossword puzzles, sudokus, and puzzles. She enjoys watching the Voice, and looooves to nap. -How would they structure their ideal day? Our recent routine in hospital/ehab has been... 0700-0900 up to BR, get cleaned up, dress, eat, take meds, light PT, watch the news, down for nap 1200-1400 to BR, up for lunch, activities, light PT, down for nap 1700-1900 to BR, up for dinner, light PT, activities, night time meds, get cleaned up and ready for bed We try to do showers 2-3 times per week. About the care needs: -What type of personality would be a good fit? Patient, compassionate, caring, honest -Are there any specialized skills they need?
