About who needs care: My mother has dementia. She would just need meals made, daily medications (once per day), reminders of basic hygiene (bathing, brushing teeth, etc.), and some daily companionship. She is ambulatory and able to be alone for several hours at a time and overnight. About the care needs: The ideal caregiver would be someone who is engaging and cheerful. My mother is a calm, laid back person who loves animals and HGTV. We have a dog and two cats so the caregiver must be comfortable with animals. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
