We need hands-on care to take care of my adult, son, who low-functioning with special needs in Romeoville. We prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing/dressing and mobility assistance. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Part of your responsibilities will include running errands. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments and accompanying him to physical therapy. We desire a caring, compassionate person. They need to be able to use a manual Hoyer lift, and lift his packages of diapers, nutritional supplements, and his items that are delivered to the mail room. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.
