About the job
We are looking for a hands-on care provider with Alzheimer's / Dementia experience for my mother in her 70s. You'll be responsible for transporting to appointments. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker. Daily Hygiene - She can bathe and dress on her own, however she needs to be reminded of the vial areas that need to be washed along with the front vs. the back of clothes. Brushing her teeth will require you to put toothpaste on the toothbrush and hand it to her. Medication - Handing her the medication that needs to be taken. All her medication is in pill form. Meals - Serving breakfast prior to leaving for adult daycare. Yogurt, fruit, granola, cereal, etc., major cooking not required. Transportation - Drop off at adult daycare daily. You'll be responsible for transporting her to daycare each morning.
