About who needs care: Parkinson's Disease well controlled but low overall strength. Needs help with bathing, dressing, and food prep but can get around with a walker. Enjoys cards and TV. If she can regain enough strength with PT, she would love to be able to go back to playing cards a couple times a week with friends. About the care needs: Friendly and outgoing willing to take charge but also allow some choice. Engaging but understanding that sometimes she doesn't want to talk. She can also appear demanding, however it is usually because she is afraid she will forget what she is asking for. Willing to play cards would be a benefit but certainly not required. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
